All kinds of office tasks – from preparing quotes and invoices, project planning and costing, to communication between the office and the building site, right through to time management – can be digitised and made significantly easier.

What is the difference between a desktop application and a mobile app?
The desktop application is designed for comprehensive office management and planning. Here, you can draw up quotations and invoices, schedule your projects on the planning board, carry out cost calculations and much more. The mobile app, on the other hand, is designed to let you access the most important information from your smartphone and equip your staff. Here you’ll find directions, work instructions, digital signatures, time tracking and a chat function between the building site and the office.
What is the difference between a mobile user and an office user?
An office user has access to the plancraft office application and can also download the mobile app. An office user is therefore fully equipped. Mobile users, on the other hand, only have access to the mobile app, which features functions specifically optimised for use whilst on the move.
How many licences do I need?
The number of licences depends on the number of users who are to access Plancraft. One licence is required per active user. We strongly advise against sharing licences, as this will cause many features, such as the planning board or time tracking, to stop working properly. We’d be happy to advise you over the phone on which package and which licences would be most suitable for you. Please feel free to contact us!
How soon do I need to make a decision?
Once your 7-day trial account has expired, your account will be switched to the free package. All your data will be retained and you will still be able to log in, but some features will no longer be available to you. If you’d like to extend your trial period or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us.
Technical Questions
Can I import my existing data?
Yes, your data can be imported. Supported formats are GAEB and Excel. You can find step-by-step instructions in our help section.
Why do I need a project folder?
A project folder helps you keep all the relevant documents and information relating to a project in one central, organised place. This makes it easier to track and manage them, and allows you to keep an overview of everything.
What sort of instalment invoices can I create?
You can create cumulative and flat-rate progress invoices based on the project’s progress or pre-defined milestones.
Is my data secure?
Yes, the security of your data is our top priority. We use advanced encryption technologies and comply with German data protection guidelines. Although you can use Plancraft on any device, you will always need your personal login details to do so. Thanks to real-time saving, your data is protected even if your computer crashes.
Is it possible to import data from my old software into Plancraft?
Yes, in Plancraft you can import existing GAEB or Excel data. You can also upload your DATANORM catalogues.
Where is my data?
Your data is stored securely in the cloud. Our servers are located in Germany and meet the highest security standards.
What happens if I don’t have an internet connection?
Our mobile app offers an offline mode that allows you to continue accessing key features; any changes will be synchronised as soon as you’re back online.
