In June 2024, plancraft completed a Series A funding round worth 12 million euros, led by Creandum – the venture capital firm behind Spotify, Klarna and Bolt. This was followed by a Series B round worth 38 million euros. Other investors include Bitstone Capital and the High-Tech Gründerfonds. The capital will be used to develop the all-in-one platform and to expand across Europe.

plancraft was founded by Alexander Noll, Julian Wiedenhaus and Richard Keil, officially in February 2020. The idea arose from Alexander Noll’s first-hand experience in his father’s carpentry business, where time-consuming administrative processes were costing valuable working time on a daily basis. Julian Wiedenhaus is now CEO of the company, which is based in Hamburg.
